Arts 4 Human Rights, a not-for-profit organisation, which seeks to tackle, to promote and to provoke questions about a range of human rights issues through art, is presenting its inaugural festival between 8th - 15th May 2010.
The festival, which takes place in venues across Southwark, showcases a diverse and exciting selection of art, live performance, theatre, film and talks!!
The events include theatre and play-readings, talks and seminars, performance art, dance, music from international and local artists, and visual art, all of which focus upon the theme of 'disPLACEment'; exploring and trafficking, immigrant rights and those seeking asylum.
For more information please visit www.arts4humanrights.org.uk, or email events.arts4humanrights.com
Other than the music night on Saturday 15th May, for which we are charging £5/3, all of the events are FREE, and everybody is welcome!
We run weekend leisure courses throughout the year. Adult Education is at the heart of Farncombe. Set in 320 acres of beautiful Cotswold countryside we also offer optional ensuite B&B accommodation.
