A patient, encouraging and supportive tutor to young people and adults in their personal practice of fine art painting, drawing and sculpture is needed in the West Midlands.
Freelance/drop in tutors required for courses in fine art: drawing, life drawing, painting, sculpture and (coming soon) print at our Cheltenham Studio. You will have more than just an interest in doing a spot of teaching, but have a real concern for the complicated practice of teaching art practice and you’ll want to talk about it too. Ideally, you’ll also be a Gloucestershire, Worcestershire or Oxfordshire artist keen to coordinate and organise your own events at the studio and will join our Artists’ network. You will be reliable, consistent, enthusiastic and passionate for your practice and very hard working. The qualification required is a BA (M preferred) in Fine Art or related area.
A one off or weekly sessions may be available. It will be a paid position at £10 per hour but no travel fees will be provided for. For more information just visit their website at www.cheltfineart.co.uk or you can contact Sarah at sarah@cheltfineart.co.uk for an application form and to arrange a trial session.
THE DEADLINE FOR ALL APPLICATIONS IS FRIDAY 2ND APRIL 2010
